DJ Biography:
Lauren touched a pair of decks for the very first time at the age of 13, having arrived back from her banishment to Norfolk to stay with her nan for the weekend so her mum could have a miniature rave in the place! Lauren was instantly fascinated by all the dj equiptment t and couldn't help but to av a crack on em, much to the delight of the poor guy who owned the expensive piece of kit!
Once Lauren learned the basics, within a couple of months she was playing at parties around the area, getting stuck in wherever was possible at the time! Alongside this she was fiddling about with little production programmes like ejay and fruity loops, picking up on the basic principles and methods that are required of music production.
Throughout her time studying, Lauren played regularly at college and uni nights, along with the occasional rave in the woods or farm, gathering as much experience as possible.
Having made the big decision of quitting her psychology degree in order to kick start her do/producer career, Lauren has successfully landed herself a regular weekly show on the prestigious SELECTUK (99.3/99.4), as well as a big international gig at the biel in Lebanon where she will be playing alongside big names such DJ Joop, Wippenberg, and Leon Bolier!
Combined with gaining sets in some of the best clubs in London (as listed above), it seems Lauren’s career hasn’t started off too badly, and is well on the way to go onwards and upwards. With a few production ideas also in mind Lauren looks set to take the world by storm and be apart of the next generation of dj/producers who know how to contribute to, capture, and maintain that rhythm and flow, that is immensely felt on a universal scale.
